Don is explaining how to get the right size patio for your home. One great tip from Don is to always measure your patio. Square footage sounds like a lot of space, but can be deceiving. Go out back and lay all of your porch items out to make sure your patio has the room for it. You can use a product called landscaper chalk. This allows you to mark out your area and even mark out where your furniture or your grill will go. Don't be fooled by prices. Bigger does not always mean more money. And remember that it is more expensive to add on to a patio than build new, so don't forget to measure.
