Tim Carter, of http://AsktheBuilder.com, demonstrates a simple way to cut a circle out of the center of a piece of ceramic tile.

Tim is showing us how to cut a hole in a piece of ceramic tile. If you have a pipe or spigot that comes out of a wall, there is a special tool for this job. First, put the tile in place. Take a pencil and sketch out where you need to cut. A wet diamond saw will not work. You need to use a rod saw. This fits into your standard hack saw. Cut this with the good side down. To use this tool take the rod saw off the hack saw, place the tile on the rod saw, and re-attach. Then just cut and place your cut tile.
