Welcome to Home Owner's Library
Less than half of homeowners know what to do in the case of a house fire. Don teaches you the basic preparations that will keep your family safe.
Don is teaching us about fire safety. Every 81 seconds, a home fire happens. You and your family should be prepared if this happens. You should always have a smoke detector. You should always check your smoke alarms. Have new batteries in them and you can even connect them so that if one goes off they all go off. Make sure you have an escape plan for your family. If your bedrooms are on the second floor, you can purchase a ladder that you hook up into your window and climb down from. Lastly, buy a fire extinguisher for the home. An ABC one is best. It takes care of all types of fires.
