Ron Hazelton, do-it-yourself expert, shows you how to get exact measurements with a tape measure, even when the tape measure "rolls" to an inside corner.

Ron is showing us how to measure inside corners with a tape measure. We all know that when we measure with a tape measure it is difficult to get an accurate measurement of corners. We end up rolling the tape measure in a corner to get a number. There is, however, a much better way to help with this common problem. Take a framing square, lay it in the corner, then use your tape measure to measure from the end of the framing square to the end of the opening. Add the tape measure to the measurement of the framing square. You now have a perfect inside measurement.
