Today your options are huge. You can change the look of any room with a ceiling fan. Fans can save you a lot on your energy costs. In the summer, make sure the blades are blowing air down and in the winter you want the blades to blow up to bring the warm air down. You control this by a switch on your fan. Finally if you have a very high ceiling, you can buy a fan that is controlled by a remote to turn the light on and off or change the blade direction. Ceiling fans can be very helpful.
