Don is helping us choose caulking. Choosing the right caulking can be very overwhelming. There are over 100 different types to choose from! There are three basic categories: The first is latex caulk. It is the cheapest and can be painted. It is an interior caulking. Next, we have silicone caulking. This should be used on the exterior. You should buy a high quality brand for the exterior of your home. It is protecting you from the elements. Last, there is a new product called polymers. They are flexible and are great for the exterior. As an added bonus, they can be painted as soon as you apply it! If you don't want to paint it, they come in over 100 different colors.
