Don is showing us how a major national store is saving energy. With oil prices rising even more than last year, everyone has to do their part to save energy. One great way retail stores are helping is by placing sky lights so they can turn off interior lights during the day. Or they can turn off the lighting displays five hours a day. These two things will save 15 million kilowatt hours a month. These national stores are trying to help save you money by giving away gift cards if you purchase Energy Star products. There are many things you can do to save energy. Don't leave it up to stores alone.
