Don is telling us how a few things you can do around your home can save you money. The standard home uses 1500 just for energy bills. Here are some things you can do to lower your bills. The first thing you can do is to make sure there is no cold air entering your home. You can solve this problem by placing caulking around all your windows and doors. Then come inside and add weathersrtipping to your windows. Next, change your furnace's filter every month the furnace works better with a clean filter. Finally if you haven't had your furnace serviced in a while, call a pro to see if it is working to its prime.
