Always buy a good, quality brush. If you want a brush that will do most jobs around the house, purchase a 3 inch angled sash brush. This is perfect for all of your trim. For your walls, you must purchase a good quality roller. Don recommends a half inch nap. Another thing professionals always use is a primer. Buy a good quality paint and primer. This will make your walls look much better. So remember, the better the quality, the better your paint job will turn out.
