Don gives you simple maintenance tips to keep your lawn healthy and your lawnmower running great.

Don is giving us some tips on maintaining your lawn mower. On the last cut of your lawn before Winter comes, adjust your mower to the highest setting. This will make the grass look healthier and let it go through winter to be nice for spring. Before you put your mower away, there are a few things you should do so it is perfect and ready for you come next year. First thing you should do is rinse your mower off with a garden hose. Next, flip the mower on its side and, using your hose, rinse it completely. While it is still laying on its side, grab a file and file the blade so it is sharp. A sharp blade cuts grass cleaner and makes your grass look better. Lastly, add a fuel stabilizer to your gas tank, this will prevent corrosion and allow you to store the engine without draining fuel.
